I had a similar problem a few months ago. Circmstatialy it happened after a software update. It took 2 trips back to the dealership and getting a case raised by them on MG to get it resolved. They finally carried out a further software update which resolved it and has been fine for the last 4 months

Mine has been back in the dealers for a second time for more software updates. They did two charges correctly and I have done one at home. It's early days to celebrate success but initial indications are good.

The fix the dealer applied has not worked in as much as the latest charge set to 80% has charged past this point. Interestingly though the app still shows the car set to health mode but has charged beyond this point. Only by 2% but that is because I set a timer on my charger to shut off before...

I have had exactly the same problem regardless of whether I have set the limit in the car or in the App. It has just been back to the dealer who says they have done some updates and reset the system. Time will tell if this resolves it but not holding my breath. They said they have raised a case...

Good news so far. The car went into Stoneacre Derby this week for investigation and update. All seems to be ok now. 3 successive charges have all successfully stopped at 80% plus the infotainment system was updated to R33 which has fixed many of the annoying niggles

Other than the recall for the software update they did this will be my first teal experience with them. I'll let you know after 23rd of September!

Same place mine is going in. So I'll remind them of this. Thanks By the way was it them who had applied your previous update? They did mine in May. I dont know if its exactly the same fault as my displayed range isn't affected (showing 307miles at the moment) but sounds very similar

I set the car (MG4 64kwh) to charge overnight to 80% from the incar settings. I have also checked the app is set to 80%. However the car charges to 100%. This has happened on 4 of the last 5 charges. I have also noticed the app periodically resets itself to 100% and changes to default setting...

Have you had it done yet? I am also looking at a Witter removable bar for my MG4. However I am told when the bar is removed the electrical socket is fixed. (Ie will not swing up out of sight). Can you confirm which bar you got and if this is the case please. A picture would help too as Witter...
