I have this same issue and after reading posts - try checking if it works when you drive off as opposed to reverse first move. One works if I put into drive first thing but if I reverse off my drive it doesn’t change.

Having studied this for a few journeys you are correct, mine is the same! Move forward it all works, reverse off drive - stuffed!

I have just purchased a brand new MG 4 Trophy. A couple of weird things are happening: 1/ it doesn’t seem to pick up different road speeds and is stuck on 30mph regardless of the actual speed limit. I have taken of the warning but I get a beep with a picture of a pedal and for saying slow down...
