I found out how to do it. On my 2025 eHS PHEV. Have the ignition on, put card into drive, put into neutral, ensure handbrake is off (if not press down on the button ), keep the handbrake button pressed down and turn off the ignition. You can now exit the car and lock it and it stays in neutral...
