I don't know about others but I've nearly lost interest in getting this car now... We ordered in May, so not much of a wait compared to some, but Christ... No updates since missing the delivery date (or before) We actually took an order from November so technically coming up for 12 months...

I've had no end of hassle with Octopus since moving to them... apparently I used nearly £500,000 in gas in a single month. Amusingly I've still not paid them a penny since joining in April as they still can't fix my account... I just chase them every couple of weeks, never hear anything back...

Also to add, a failing battery can do all sorts of bizzare things to modern cars, so it may be the only issue you have with it... If you're lucky

Sorry if I missed something, but are you basing the battery being OK because the clock works OK? The clock draws a near irrelevant amount of power, starting an engine puts a huge load on the battery, the clock running does not mean the battery is OK

When was yours ordered? I'm with the same dealer so may offer some vauge indication of my ETA They never reply to my emails or update me unless I phone them... not ideal!

Sorry to hear that, I'd be furious as well - I doubt there is much you can do though, beyond throwing some toys out the pram to make your self feel better (which I'm 100% not above doing myself !) Without wanting to take away from the pain you're feeling... at least MG are consistent and cancel...
