Read your insurance Policy small print. Most policies are only valid for bog standard factory specification.

Better check that this "upgrade" doesn't cause you issues with your insurance. They might not like it.

Why not have an untethered charger if you are going to buy a cable and save yourself extra costs.

A lot of public chargers will limit the max charge you can have in order to improve access. The last 5% takes a disproportionate time so it's not economic to allow. Its generally not a car issue.

Tried that, doesn't work, shows correct miles but display says km, probably a screen format thing. Also Digital key function returns an error. Don't use it though so no issue.

Just had another update to the app. It now works but display shows range in KM and not miles even though settings are shown as imperial. Oh well can't have it all I suppose.

I have just been forced to update the ismart app to v2. Not given any option to ignore. The new app just crashes when I try to open it now. Ironic as the update was to fix bugs. Now it doesn't work at all. Very frustrating and typical of MG. MG ZS EV 2022, samsung s23 phone.

It prolongs battery life. You only need to charge the battery to 100% about once a month to balance the battery cells. Its in the manual.

Android Auto actually works on your phone. The MG only imports from it, so if your phone has compatibility issues or is not fully updated on all apps you use, you might have issues.
