I did wonder about this. Back in December we had to have a new screen after a stone caused a large crack. It was replaced with a genuine MG by Autoglass however the replacement had a manufacturing defect so a week later we were back for another replacement. Then just a few days later another...
There is a difference however there is no way that's a 20mph hit. Maybe the other driver was doing 20mph when he hit the brakes but that looks like 5 - 10mph at most.
So today we got to drive the Cyberster for a couple of hours. Got to say it's such a nice looking car and really nice to drive. The one we drove was the single motor but with the performance on offer I actually think it's more than enough and probably the one we'll go for. Loved the interior...
Yes, the granny charger can be used outside and they're designed for just that. We used ours for the first 6 months of owning an EV without a problem and it lived outside all that time, we didn't even bring it in when it wasn't charging! Try to avoid leaving it on the ground though especially...
The ZS mk1 did suffer from a problem which could cause the main fuse in the HV battery pack to blow leading to a total loss of power including a loss of power steering and brake assistance. This was identified and rectified through a recall. Ours had it done back in 2021 however we never had...
When we first got ours there was no limit on the data, on 1 trip to York both of my girls was on their tablets streaming netflix using the car's WiFi there and back with no issues. I haven't yet had a problem however if it is now capped that would be a pain but completely understandable.
I do...
We charged using the granny charger for the first 6 months without a problem. Contrary to what a lot of scaremongers would have you believe home wiring in good condition can deal with a sustained 10 amp load. If you can avoid using an extension lead as the plug on the granny charger has a...
When we bought our MG4 we were told that it would have OTA updates and even on the MG website it says
"the Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) will enable vehicles to receive Over-The-Air (OTA) updates throughout their lifecycle."
So not unreasonable to expect free OTA updates really. I...
It's been interesting running with the standard tyres over the summer as in warm, dry conditions they're actually not bad at all however as the temperature is starting to drop I'm already noticing them becoming a little more unpredictable. In fact unpredictable is a good word to describe them...
In the age of social media and sensationalised stories in the media why would you be surprised that people would question this? It would be ridiculous and a little daft to believe everything you read on Facebook and if I posted a story like that I would be very surprised if people didn't...
LKA seems OKish on Motorways and large A roads however for those of us that live in the middle of nowhere it's bloody dangerous. We have to disable ours on every start simply because it will randomly decide to try to pull us onto the nearest verge or ditch.
Yep, even when the car is off! We left ours for a few weeks and checking on the app I could see the 12v battery dropping down and then a couple of days later it was back up again. Main battery dropped by 1 or 2 % but the 12v was absolutely fine when we went back to it.
Our mk1 ZS on the other...
I think that's the point, had the OP come on here to ask specific question or provide constructive feedback I'm sure he would have received help and equally constructive opinions however his very first post on this MG4 community board was a shouty rant about the car that actually quite a lot of...
