I had the same issue last year and had my CCU replaced (eventually), they had my car for 2 weeks though as they had to prove to MG that it wasn't a anything else or a software issue. I was given a vauxhall e-Corsa and that made me really appreciate my MG4 when I got it back.

It's particularly annoying, as there used to be a setting on the ISmart app to defrost the windows and it worked perfectly, but for some reason they removed it on the first update of the app 😢
