Not necessarily, my dealer knew mine was due to arrive in a two week window but only knew it had actually arrived when the transporter turned up at the dealership.

Not sure that is true. I received mine last Monday. When it was dropped off at the dealership there were only 3 cars for that particular dealer.

I ordered mine on 7 Jan 2022. Just taken delivery on Monday (31 Oct) Affintiy was still honoured. Although the discount I received was £2100 not the £5000 you stated. I did also get the Government grant of £1500 though.

Was thinking about that but then thought what for? Everyone can see it everyday as I drive around or park on my drive. Might be being a bit naive but not sure what the threat is. My name, address etc is not public

To be honest I really think emailing MG UK or China or MD’s or anyone else does absolutely nothing at all. They will always always fob you off with the same answer. As far as I can see on this forum not one single person has received a car earlier as a direct response to emails or complaints...
