Thanks everyone. Problem solved. The reversing trick didn't work but going full lock (or as full as I could safely manage) around a large roundabout did work.

Thank you all for the replies. Hoping it is just a stone. I've tried a few methods to displace it, with no luck so far. I'll try reversing at speed with the full lock on tomorrow. Kinda looking forward to that one!

Afternoon all. I've just had the most horrendous grinding/ scraping noise coming from my MG5 LR. It appears to be coming from the wheel area so possibly brake discs? The car is nearly 4 years old and had no real problems with it so far, fast wearing tyres aside. It started out of nowhere...

Had the same problem yesterday at the Tesla charger in Uxbridge. Tried 3 different charge stations and none worked on my MG5. Very frustrating having already been on the road for 6hrs on my slow crawl from Devon to Essex. Luckily I had 25% charge left so was able to get to a back up charge...
