ditto... 2 hours driving, stop, charge the car (takes about 30 minutes) coffee, snack and a stretch of the legs has revolutionised a journey that used to be non stop, (apart from a stop and splash if needed} and get home wired to the moon from concentration... an hour longer but so much more...

22 plate 5LR here... Initially on a trip, I'll get up to 70kW max which tails back down, after 10 or so minutes to around 55kW... this is irrespective of time of day or temp... I generally expect 35 minutes for 20% to 80% on a fast Gridserve... it's a regular trip I do and this is pretty...

Glad to know! I've grappled with the heating on my 5LR for 3 years now and it's still confusing me as to which button does what ...

Haven't seen an emergency stop on a charger for a while... My last run down from visiting the grandkids, I came across this on a VW, dual Gridserve and he couldn't remove the plug... he had to call support in the the end and they promptly re-booted the charger, stopping my charge as well...

2022 5LR... it does everything I want. Had a 4 as a courtesy car and did not like it... not one little bit! An improvement over the petrol ZS they loaned me... as I'd forgotten how to drive manual :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :cry:

I've just had similar on a gridserve charger at Woolley Edge services. Started with the Gridserve app and charged normally. Tried to stop it, again via the app, nothing doing... stop button on the screen, nothing. Finally managed to over come 'you arenumber 2 in the queue for a service agent...

Try different cables and if you find one that works, don't take it out of the car... I've had this with my Polo and now with the MG5 LR...

Often! A road nearby confuses the car quite often... leaving M'way services often raises the alarm...

It does become second nature... holding down that button until the roundel disappears...

Is this a dealer 'upselling'? Mine sends a sweet little video, with commentary. Last one, 3rd service 20 odd thousand miles... though I might like to change the front tyres at 4mm (even wear) at a rather expensive price... and there were signs of rust on the back brakes such that I might like...

I learnt the ways of the compatible cable via my previous car, a VW Polo.... very ficky and would only work using a certain brand of cable... I didn't leave it in the Polo and it works fine in the 5LR. It lives in the car as I can't remember the brand now... :unsure:
