Yep - mine "balances" when I hit the 80% mark I use for battery health "week to week" charging. I can see the slow charging at the end happening via the Tesla app with my Tesla Wall Charger.

What you call a fault others may call a boon. I find using the "double tap" to engage "hold" extremely easy and intuitive. Each to their own.

Why wouldn't you try what I suggested? You just set it and forget. Yes, I turn off "creep mode" when I hire a Polestar 2. In our MG4s I have "Autohold" enabled.

And it doesn't remember OPD hence my suggestion above ;)
