    Things I hope they fix!

Wow, definitely sounds like an android issue then, because in less than 30 seconds I can open the app, check the battery state, return to the main screen, refresh the vehicle status and scroll through all items of the vehicle and close the app back down. I took a screen shot video on my phone...

    Things I hope they fix!

I have heard a few people comment about the speed of the app, I have no trouble with using it and it’s always responsive. It would be interesting to know why some have issues. I have iPhone 11 and use either wifi or mobile data with no issue, the longest I have waited for it to do something is...

    Things I hope they fix!

the point 4. There is a dark mode setting which is all I use, you also have the option to switch between the 2 automatically but yes the white screen is bright which is why I stay on dark mode

    KERS3 vs Braking

My daily commute to and from work is a good example, mostly uphill going, downhill going home, journey to work uses about 5-6% battery, coming home I gain 1-2% battery (still makes me smile to see the percentage gauge go up as I’m driving 😀)

    KERS3 vs Braking

There’s nothing that will get damaged, it’s essentially the motor acting as a generator so essentially everything moving as it would if you were driving, just generating energy instead of consuming it. I always drive in KERS3, I control how aggressive it stops/slows me down with the pressure I...

So the New ZS EV 2022 summed up in 12 miles

Mine was trying to start the charge, however was also using the bonnet app to charge, so that’s a common factor

    Charge to 100%?

Just to add to this, there is a page in the manual for the 2022 version but should also apply to any EV really that gives advice for storing the car for long periods which everyone should take heed of:-

Common problems with the new ZS EV

have you tried the darkmode setting for the infotainment screen, its all i use

    Problem with the app

I believe the app doesn't directly connect to the car, it goes via a server somewhere in Europe which is why there is some latency

Long term storage effects on battery

Regardless of the chemistry the storage characteristics are the same for lithium I think you are confused with the charging differences. The Sr needs to be fully charged during use to ensure the cells are balanced properly 👍

Long term storage effects on battery

The lithium batteries will be fine, they will be at a mid state of charge essentially between 40-60% SOC. A lithium Battery can be stored like this for an extremely long time with no ill effect/degradation. it is only a problem if they are at a high state of charge or low state of charge for a...

    Cruise control question

Regenerative breaking doesn’t work on the ZS when using cruise control it does on the mg5. It will not be a software update though because I recall Miles @Miles Roberts CG saying this is related to the hardware used on the ZS vs MG5
