I figured that out earlier this week when getting to the bottom of the hill from my house, it gave me (very temporarily) 20.0 mi/KWh. Makes you wonder just how far you could go if it could sustain that :)

We stopped at Southwaite twice last year on a drive down. The Gridserve CCS chargers work well, there's just not that many of them. Westmorland's still under construction it seems (Electric Charging - Westmorland Family) though ZapMap tells me Southbound at Tebay now has 2 bays of 2 104kW...

Tebay is our favourite pit stop, last year their website said they were expanding the number of chargers at their two locations but last time I drove through it, I was lucky enough to be able to charge at the northbound one but they could definitely do with more. I was hoping the Tesla chargers...

Oh cool that's good to know. I'll know to consider Tesla chargers in the future when doing a road trip. Cheers

Do you need an adapter or a special cable to use Tesla's superchargers?

A bit of an update on this topic. I went to charge at another 22kW AC charger yesterday and I was able to get about 6.5kW on average from this unit, which suggests the other unit I was talking about must either have technical issues or deliberate throttling or something as the unit yesterday was...

Ah ah if there's one thing that's almost always off it's the AC ;)

I don't think I've ever even seen an 11kW charge point. I'll get in touch with my dealership and ask if they'd be willing to swap my cable free of charge for a 3 phase one. I expect they won't but it doesn't hurt to ask, especially after a disappointing servicing last week. Thanks for the info...
