Thats extremely interesting, yes I've also been drying the area, due to charging in the rain, i noticed the flap lock thingy had been smeared with a white grease and I think your air blast can is a jollygood idea. Think I'll also get a can and some white grease. Thanks for the info.
Interesting, well I've put one on mine now, only time will tell if mg are right or are the other manufacturers right. However I presume you have had no issues with your mg4.

Good point but as they fit perfectly into each other I can't see any ingress happening.So i coil it up then connect the two plugs and its so much easier to handle and pop into its bag. I suppose on a rainy day I have to be more alert to dropping the unprotected plug after pulling apart onto the...
I find that it makes coiling the cable up and keeping it coiled much easier. Moving on slightly I also now use the discarded small rubber end cap as a cap for the exposed socket behind the changing flap on the car.
I didn't like the rubber end caps on my charging cable. What ive found is when you're not using it the small plug will fit into the big plug so i do this and have discarded the dangling rubber caps.
Well, having written reams on how level 1 regen is the one for me, I've been trying level 2 regen and I'm actually finding its pretty good. Bit of a shame the setting cannot it seems be stored as my preferred setting, but its not the end of the world considering what a good car it is.
