    MG Titan Accessories with Photos

Oh now that's interesting, the fasten onto headrests bit. As I prefer to not have the headrests in place on the rear seats does that mean the new shelf doesn't secure well? Still toying with the idea of getting one.

    Rain repellent.

Presumably the application of a good quality rain repellant should reduce drag and therefore increase battery range. Has anyone come across any tests of this?

    Wheel nuts

A Christmas Story. Around 1974 me and my mate Nick set off to go to the pictures in Birmingham in his red Austin A40. Whizzing along listening to the Rolling stones I think, we could hear the sound of sleigh bells jingling. I rolled my window down and said it's coming from the front wheel but we...

    Wheel nuts

Interesting, from feel alone I'd say my dealer had correctly done up the locking wheel nuts. Moving on I've never had a nut or bolt come loose on its own after fitting when its had a smear of copper slip. However it wasn't standard practice to smear wheel nuts. (Even though I thought about it...

    Wheel nuts

Yes there's a lot of pros and cons but I figured if I removed them to perhaps add a touch of copper slip then I may as well change them for the full headed bolts. There's so many ham fisted guys out there I really don't want a conversation entailing my wheel bolt supposedly being seized and the...

Mmm does that reflect on the sales outlet? No you're not, I'm just a bit suspicious of how much torque a locking wheel nutt can take if its seized in place by salt and rust

    Wheel nuts

Call me daft but I've removed the locking wheel bolts and put the original bolts back. Being new and before the winter corrosion set in I figured they'd come off ok. Reason is I don't want a corroded bolt on a black, wet cold night (puncture) and being told the head has stripped as the bolt was...

    Front panel strength.

Hi ho merry christmas. Well walking up to the car the other night tripped on the curb. Fell face first and shoulder onto the front panel with a right wack. So once I'd wiped the blood away etc I hobbled back out of the house to inspect the S5. Joy of joy not a mark or dent. Three cheers for MG...

The Ultimate MGS5 "Real World" Energy Consumption Thread

I think (including my own) its the I presume the speed (average speed?) shown very often is something around the mid twenties ! despite how fast I've driven. Makes me laugh when all the media are concerned about is 0 to 60 times and top speed.

    MG S5: first impressions

I think thats really interesting so in theory if I could change the oder that the regen was written in the software I could make the saved regen setting the one I use every trip e.g.swap the one pedal for regen 2.

    Heater

Yes indeed although I would have said AC or Air con. But what does one say? Climate 16 degrees? Climate colder? Or Climate AC on? Mmmm have to try this out. To be fair I'm watching the football with the sound off. So that I can hear Nick Abbott on LBC plus writing on the phone !
