When I purchased my "Pearl Black" MG3 Hybrid+ Trophy last year, I paid to have the ceramic protection for the paintwork. I cleaned the car today, and there was a large bird dropping on the front of the bonnet. It couldn't have been there too long as I hadn't noticed it. I cleaned it off using...
True, but the manual does say the modes will affect response to inputs. I didn't floor the throttle, probably only about 50% but it still responded well/ I am normally light on the throttle.
Quite agree, autohold doesn't apply the PB, as after you are sat there for a few mins and the autohold swaps to PB you feel the car ride up on the rear wheels a bit if you are on a uphill bit of road. And of course the green "A" swaps to a red "P" in the display.
Sounds interesting. How did you format it? Is that an option that pops up somewhere? When you then added music did you add it to the media folders it created, or just load it alongside?
Reckless1957, if this isn't autohold, why does it only work if the autohold button is switched to on (light on) and the autohold icon illuminates green on the display? And why does the instruction manual call this autohold? If the PB is on the icon is red on the display, not green.
Funny enough I drove back from the beach yesterday and put it in Economy, and then forget about it. On the journey I pulled out to overtake a stationary bus only for find a car coming the other way very quickly and so I put my foot down and the car responded just as sharply as it does in Normal...
I use Autohold and never touch the selector unless I know I'm going to be stationary for a while, such as waiting outside a shop etc. If you sit in Autohold longer than the car likes, it swaps to Parking brake anyway.
Yep. I'm having issues with mine that I detail in another post about Sat Nav start up. Mine often tells me to turn, then instantly thinks I haven't and recalculates the route, then does it again when it realises I have gone the correct way!
I always keep mine in Normal, and I've not noticed any change in performance or fuel consumption. Certainly enjoying the better fuel figures now the warmer weather is here and I'm not needing heating too!
You have a push switch alongside the "gear" knob that you push (and it illuminates with a little yellow light) to select auto hold, and in the off mode it will creep along if you take you're foot off the brake. This selection will be remembered every time you get in the car until you press it...
Mine did this just this week, and I think I've worked out what happened. I was parked on the flat, with the car behind very close. The camber of the road meant the pull away was slightly uphill into the road. The moment you touch the pedal the auto hold disengaged, slightly before power was...
Thanks for that, I'm thinking it could be an inherent problem, but 112 people have read this and you are the only one having the issue like me...or can be bothered to reply!!! I'll wait to see what MG say, but my brother uses Waze and he swears by it, so maybe I'll give that a go! Thanks for the...
