The video certainly gives me some confidence about quality of the manufacturing process, including quality control. Maybe some of the cheaper parts supplied could be better made (plastic splash guard for example) but on the whole, impressive ?

That doesn’t sound like mine. Ok the screen is a little slow if it hasn’t been used for a while, but I have never had to lock and unlock the car. I wonder if you have a dodgy driver’s seat switch so you have to be sitting in a certain position to trip it. Or maybe you are pressing the peddle...

Surely the manufacturer is allowed to respec the quantity of oil needed for something. Who are we to argue when they are offering a 7 year warranty on it ?‍♂️?‍♂️

If they haven’t been driven, having the corrected oil level results in no leaks I believe. Breather mods should just be a belts and braces.

Update from me. Noticed the oil leak after about 1000 miles. Contacted dealer. Had it in to drain and refill to lower level and passed it fit for me to drive. I got home and noticed I still had a trail of oil on the bottom. They told me it is normal that any residual oil left in the breather...

I liked the theory someone propounded about the warped tray somehow altering the pressure dynamics of the breather pipe area, thus causing it to fail / drag in water / blow oil out intermittently. So I would be interested to hear if anyone has the oil leak but has a perfectly formed tray

dropped the car off the 70 miles to my supplying dealer on Saturday to get the oil leak fixed and got an ICE loaner. Received a phone call today to say it was fixed… went all the way up there, picked the car up and drove back. Picture is from the back of the car when I got home… chalk another...

I read somewhere (Google search!) that the time that the dealer spends investigating the fault doesn’t count in the timing for the rejection. So if the dealer picks it up on the 28th day and spends 3 weeks investigating, you can still reject it using the 30 day rule

It was only 6°C for some of the journey and I guess the low temp dropped the tyre just into the alarm range

Picked my car up yesterday, but didn’t have time to post til now. Lots of features that most test drivers got wrong. Eg it is a doddle to control the air con and drive modes, cruise control and Regen braking from the steering wheel with no screen input needed while driving

Definitely champing at the bit, Tuesday 10am, should get my reg no for insurance tomorrow
