The MG4 rear window flaps have hinges implying they can be rotated, but are they functional, or just for decoration? Don't want to risk damage forcing them.

Question: Whenever I turn on the car the middle section of the default main screen on my MG4 always displays "Charging - Decharging" and below "please plug in the charge connector" then the % charge (number and bar graph) and then two control buttons "Start" and "Lock." - I can't find any...

Is there a risk of damage if you fold them wrong? how do you avoid that?

Here in Australia, RoofRacksGalore say their Cruz roof rack bars and Optiplus fitting clamp system are listed and tested for the MG4, but car owners should check with their dealer. Maybe there are other acceptable systems in the market as well?
