I was pleasantly surprised this year to be offered a renewal from Allianz that was almost the same as last year. So I renewed without looking around. It's madness for most insurance companies to penalize their existing base. I guess they expect most clients to simply pay whatever is asked.

No don't get me wrong, just that much negativity about EVs on Facebook is big oil sponsored rubbish. That's why you need to get real data from actual owners.

You need to talk to bev owners. Charging point issues are long gone. Even in Cornwall where I live, charging is not an issue. Unless you can't charge at home or work then it would make a bev less attractive. I was totting up the number of rapid chargers in Exeter last week and it's around 150...

Hybrids have passed their usefulness, fully electric is the way to go.

It's a while since I was in Malta, but have been many times in the past. The roads were dreadful and hire car's worse. But I didn't notice much in the way of public transport. Valetta and Medina certainly a must.

Mine did the same, MG5 fl. I just left it off, the flap won't lock, but stays shut. The part if I could get one should just clip in, mine lost one side of the plastic flange that holds it to the flap.

EVs have gained a reputation for being expensive to insure. Some are, but then the X Power is a high performance car as are many BEVs. I would expect a high premium for a Ferrari or Porsche and this car is in the same performance league. My MG5 is ample for my performance needs and costs £300...

I have been trying different settings, the blind spot is quite significant. I do wonder if MG use more than one supplier of headlights. Some owners seem very happy others don't.
