I just pay for the 1 or 2 months in the year when I’m planning a longer trip across Europe - otherwise I don’t really need it for the charging stop planning etc and just use Waze or Google for navigation. I agree though that for a paid piece of software correct functioning should be expected.

I don’t think the dongle is the problem / it is ABRP not having Cyberster correctly setup in their software. My vLinker MC+ works fine as long as I say the car is MG4.

I wondered about that so thanks for testing. I guess I’ll carry on with my MG4 picture and definition! I’ll do as requested too. I have to say that on a long continental trip last year ABRP with the ODB dongle estimated arrival SOC pretty well using the MG4 definition.

As suggested on the ABRP support pages I use The Vgate vLinker MC+ and it has worked well except for occasionally setting off the alarm

Just tried it on an old Android tablet with v3.0.1 (it said latest) and had the same result. I thought I read that the Android version was more advanced - but it may be the age of this tablet

I no longer seem to be able to set the charge limit to anything other than 80% through the App (latest version on iOS) I just get a “Failed” message at the bottom of the screen. It did work in the past but not now. In fact I can’t even get to the completed EV Management page - I get a timed out...

I’ll have a look at Beam (AA basically) - they insure drivers up to 99 - for a price I’m sure!
