Do a search mate it's a long-term issue that MG has bodged to save a few quid. However, saps like us took their word for it that this would be fixed correctly this as you now well know is not the case.
I think it sounds great in EV mode a couple of friends say it sounds like a spaceship when running purely on electricity. Must admit to not really hearing it at all above 30ish just a slight whine.
Never heard of this, this is something that the charger or the BMS in the car will look after. I am not aware of having to anything other than plug it in.
If you use any mode other than auto the car tries to keep the charge at 50% for med and 100% for high, but it will use a lot of petrol to do this so it is not recommended. I used it once as I wanted battery power for driving around Bowness in the lakes as I depleted the battery on the trip to...
I am sure this will be covered under warranty unless it's a user error i.e. water ingress or smashed screen. Disappointing from your local MG people 4-5 weeks wait with a load of safety warnings is not good.

It would be good if we could get a group together, but they are really not bothered. Fortunately we have Android Auto\Carplay otherwise it would have to go. I have mine on a 4 year deal I am a year in so 3 to go, no point in trying to shift on just yet as the depreciation is horrendous but...
They wanted you to sign a form accepting the fix :) unbelievable! Mine is going in for a service soon and if they remove my second USB I will do them for criminal damage :) I will leave a note saying that I have rejected the fix (as it isn't) and not to butcher my car. I was told if I rejected...
If your car has working DAB they will leave well alone. Its only us poor saps who were conned into buying the car on a false promise this would be "fixed" Little did we know what the fix entailed.
You dont have to open the cover the ODB socket is to the left of the steering wheel column next to the center console. The manual states its behind the small cubby drawer to the right of the steering wheel this is incorrect. I power my dashcam from the ODB socket hence knowing where it is...
As John said around 40 if you drive around the speed limit if you up the pace a bit 80mph plus it takes a bit of a dive to around 36mph. As John also said it's a comfortable car on the motorway and in my mind with the poor mpg.
Check the alignment my car had the lights aligned while on high beam so on dipped it lit up about 10 foot in front of the car. Just for reference, my adjusters were out 9 full turns on each side.
Good luck with the "fix" I have refused to let them do mine as I use both USB ports and you still have very poor DAB and no RDS or TA functions on the radio. Good luck with your wireless adapter mine has been great since I did the above.
Hi not the Paul you wanted but I can shed some light on it. In a nutshell the fix will remove one of your usb ports at the front of the car and they wire a similar box that is in your glovebox behind the dash. You will still be missing the ability to save favourites etc. In other words its a...
