Short runs don't make much difference to an EV. It hasn't had to pump out 3 or 400 amps into a starter motor to get the engine running. all it has to do is fire up the computer and flick the switch on the main battery.
A booster jump starter doesn't need to be expensive. You can pretty much buy...
Although that is definitely true, my understanding is that early MG5s with the bug were occasionally locking up Tesla chargers and putting them out of action. Tesla then put in a check for the specific issue and prevented cars that displayed that problem from connecting.
Either way it was very...
That's a really good price - almost as good as European prices. There are a few Tesla chargers in the North West that are 72p. I have no idea why there is such a wide range.
No, it just means that although it is obviously a bug they consider that fixing it is an enhancement and so the dealer isn't allowed to claim back their time from MG under the warranty.
You may already know this but not all Tesla chargers are open to non-Teslas and, something I found out recently, not all Tesla chargers are cheap.
As for compatibility, I think all of the long ranges were updateable (and all of the FL). Some of the standard ranges were also updateable but it...
That battery has much more power than an MG5 needs. I'm sure you don't need to pay the extra for a stop/start battery but I suppose it wont do any harm.
It's not really nonsense - lots of apps require you to actually log in once in a while. If you let your phone remember passwords then it is a bit easier to log back in.
As a temporary measure it is quite easy to remove the rear seat base so that the seats will then fold flat. Just remember that there is a connection either side for the seat sensors.
I agree with you but, as this thread started 3 years ago and some people in the dealer network are still spouting lies, it is clear that no-one that can do something about the situation is reading here.
I do love my car but I will be quite wary of buying another MG.
There really ought to be somewhere that we can report that sort of nonsense. It gives the MG dealership network such a bad name.
(Well done for doing the update yourself)
