A few things about the IM5

That's a bit odd. I often find I can't get them to stop. Maybe a press & hold?

A few things about the IM5

I have found that on the main panel it has an ADAS shortcut and that only has a couple of items - speed and lane changing, just the ones I usually switch off. So it has kind of remembered!

    Hi all,

Welcome to the club guys! I've had my IM5 LR for several months now & probably done over 2,000 miles. All good so far. It looks like we won't be hit with the super tax, it's a bit vague but our dear chancellor seems to have raised the bar to £50k. And it looks like the auto dip function doesn't...

Can’t locate auto high beam/dip on my IM5

Yes, I thought there would be an auto dip function. I keep comparing the IM5 to my old phev Prius, which had this function - it wasn't very good tbh. The Prius would also stores lots of records too. Which the MG doesn't... Yes, I found the reference in the manual but no idea how to operate....

They are just small but irritating things. Maybe we'll get an update🤔

IM5 Owner's Manual - Printed Copy Anyone? (Cancelled)

I think someone with spare time could do a re-write! To include more useful & practical info!

    MG IM5 information & reviews

I'm getting about 3.3 but then the conditions here in the UK are atrocious - heavy rain, cold...so full lights on AC on heating on etc.

A few things about the IM5

Getting used to the jam jar now. Someone on here was wondering if a hard copy of the manual would be a good idea? I think it would be a good idea to re-write the manual! I was thinking that the indicator didn't do the usual 3 blinks if you just slightly hit it. It's infuriating when you try and...

    IM5 - charging history

My apologies. The charger does record the charges. It means noting each session down on paper & doing some sums but yep, it'll work. So I reckon 1250 miles on 312.39 kWh, that's exactly 4. Not too bad. Home charging costs = £30.

    IM5 - charging history

My charger at home may have this info, it's an eBay Chinese one , I'll have a go at interrogating it tomorrow. I could look at my Powerwall 3 data and work out how many times I charged it....

    IM5 - charging history

Hello Just a quick question. I'm trying to work out running costs. Does the IM5 store charging data? I don't think the app does. I know I can take the average efficiency and divide that into the miles....

A few things about the IM5

Hi all, quite enjoying my ride. Quite a few odd things but gradually getting used to it. One thing I was keen on sorting - is there a charging record? Nothing on the app. Does the car store past history? Be nice to know. We're still working out running costs. Using our Octopus Go overnight rate...

    Insurance?

I find those comparison sites a bit weird. I just arm twisted my current insurer - ended up paying £617.76, that's with Churchill. Two drivers, (67 yrs) fully comp etc I got the tax back from my previous car and paid the £195 ved. Next year, unless they come to their senses, I'll have to pay the...

Range test out from Bjørn Nyland

Mainly country roads. Short trips. Longer 120mile plus over the weekend! But so far, I'm impressed .
