The 2026 Leapmotor C10 is supposed to be a big upgrade on the launch model, if the price stays the similar to this year it should be another serious competitor. We looked very closely at one but it was still behind the MG S5 at the time.

I was going to look out for a set of 17" alloys and fit winter tyres to them and keep the nice 18" ones for summer. I won't worry about tyre pressure indicators either, I can check the pressure myself. I've done this on previous cars and am a big fan of winter tyres. Andy

I was very tempted by the C10 until I found out they’d launched the 2026 model back in May (in China) this year with double the charge speed, more power and a whole bunch of other refinements. It’s not available over here yet but if the price stays the same it will take some beating.

My MG5 is going back today, the PCP finished and they’re taking the car back with nothing for me to pay. The balance was £12,000 but trade value was only £8500 so I’d loose out keeping it or using it as a trade in. I’d been looking at a Leapmotor C10 until I found out the already released 2026...

Sorry, I don’t know. The first Tesla charge we did was only 35kW but we’ve just arrived in Nice and used a few Tesla chargers on the way down that were all faster- saw 81kW at one stage today.
