I like R1, and it was annoying when the MG4 defaulted to 3 every time I got in the car.
Allows a lift and coast experience, maxing out the regen at -5... and more importantly not lighting up the brakes every time you decide to take your foot off the accelerator.
Need more than -5.... then the...
I have been used to the old MG4 Trophy for the past 2 years, where I can enter a location/company name into the sat nav search, and it would come back with the address and correctly route there.
The MGS5 does not seem to do this - instead offering random roads in Europe that may match the...
Got a Type 2 with the MGS5 - Dealer said they could swap for a Granny if wanted at the time of signing the deal, couldn't have both unless buying...
Kept the Granny from the MG4 that I traded in (and the additional Type 2 that I purchased) so now have a choice living under the raised boot floor...
I am sure my UK Spec MGS5 Trophy doesn't have the 3 phase pins in the car side of the charger (I may have to double check if people say otherwise)... so it won't matter what cable you have?

It's about as random as the bluetooth connecting to the phone or not
We've got ours ordered for delivery in July, hopefully a painless swap over with the insurance by then with the systems being able to see it, and essentially the same car as the outgoing MG4 won't increase premiums (we hope)
The MG4 which the MGS5 is an improvement on, has a very stable speed limit setting.
The only annoyance in the 4 is that it defaults to off every time you get in the car... and have to enable it, either to manual or auto sign recognition.
I use it more than cruise control as, again in the 4...
As the OP to this thread - an update.
We have just ordered a Trophy in Blue to be delivered in line with the MG4 PCP finishing - and handing back at no loss (sitting in negative equity)

6,600 down
15k Miles (never going to hit that)
