Contacted dealer this morning about update on the arrival of CCU unit, told it could take up to a month to arrive, in a more positive note, they told me my cable should be here next week.

Just rang AA to confirm renewal after service 25th March, the lady told me it's expired and get in touch with dealer to forward confirmation so that can activate it on AA portal. I have rang them and they were just closing, but the lady apologised and said she would log on and rectify it...

Rang dealer yesterday, they are going to order my cable and new CCU unit and contact me when they arrive, not sure how long they will need vehicle for the replace CCU .

Took vehicle up motorway In sports mode with all heaters on trying to use up energy to try DC charge. Epic fail, unable to connect. Then tried type 2 cable , luckily this still works. Will contact dealer on Monday looks like a new CCU unit needed.

Dealer just contacted me to say vehicle is ready for collection. They fully charged it in a 7kW AC charger, serviced vehicle and then finally managed to update vehicle after contacting MG technical. Unfortunately they haven't tested the DC charging. They told me if the update hasn't rectified...

Been monitoring vehicle via Ismart whilst in dealership, they must have put it on AC charger yesterday evening as it gradually charged to 100%. Not sure if they have tried DC charger as no contact from them so far.

Car dropped off, hopefully all issues will be resolved. Ask them to check both AC and DC charging and also to order the free charging cable as a good will gesture from MG

I have informed them they can have the vehicle from Monday till Friday of next week as I won't need it , hopefully plenty of time to fix any issues.

Dreading mine going in next week for service and to fix DC charging issue, what will it be like once complete is anyone's guess. Will emphasise that they need to test both modes of charge before I collect.

Had a response from MG reading the reimbursement of cost of cable. Explained everything to them and they originally agreed to cover the cost. Telling me to go to local dealers and ask them to reimburse me and show the email to dealer so that could get reimbursed by MG. The cable wasn't bought...

Have now been using the cable for a couple of days whilst away in Wales. Purchased a 1.8m length and should have went for a longer one, maybe 3m, as the last two chargers have made it very close to get the cable round the side of the vehicle due to access. It's really tested my reversing...

Afternoon all, purchased a 3 phase cable so I can st least try 22kw chargers whilst I wait for vehicle to go into dealership to sort out the error code. Just been driving around fo 90 mins looking for working chargers no luck at all, to teat to make sure it works as a long journey planned early...

That's good news, mine booked in on 18th March, hopefully the update will fix issue.
