A bit late to your question, but I took it back to the dealer and they had to get the ABS controller and brake pedal linkage replaced. It was all under warranty, just took them a week to diagnose the issue and another week to replace.
Did you resolve your issue?
I see a lot more in the Hills area and Hornsby nowdays. Sometimes 4-5 a day. There’s a dealer in Pennant Hills so maybe that’s why. It’s where I got mine.
Can someone show me a photo of where their wiper fluid hose go? My dealer did some work on the ABS and apparently disconnected the hose but forgot to reconnect it. It’s for the front nozzles.
I assume there’s a hose connector somewhere that runs to the nozzles.
I know the slight thunk that happens when brakes kick in during OPD at low speed, it’s not that. This is a clicking sound. I just tried pressing the brakes when the car is in P and the clicking is still there.
Gonna try to clean the brakes a bit tomorrow, maybe debris logged in there. Also...
Got a MG4 Excite 51, Australian version (ones with rear wiper and rear headrest). Had it for about 10 months, 10,000 on the odo.
Last week I start to hear clicking from the brake pedal. It’s clicking when I depress the brake pedal, does 2-3 clicks at around 10-30% force. Car also does a click...
MG4 is listed as $31,000 under MG’s September offer. That’s quite crazy.
I have my excite on NL at the moment, expiring early 2025. If this deal is still on by then, it’s gonna be cheaper for me to get a new MG4 than buyout my current one.
EV’s are really depreciating hard. Not that I’m...
The door lock button on the external handle. Feels a little flimsy and I wonder if it will last. Would love a touch sensor like most cars I've owned. I've since mostly used the remote to lock and unlock.
I havent needed to disable LKA since I got used to it. It's no different to the 2024 Tiguan I use as family car. It is ok most of the time, only get funky when there are too many lines on the road (due to road work, old lines/new lines on roads, etc).
Depends on which dealer you're getting it from. When I picked up the car early this year, I told the dealer about the issue and they added a hold down plate on the front facing side. I'm not sure if all dealers would do this.
In China, BYD cars have better accessories and better interiors than Tesla. And much more variety. Tesla still have the brand name and status, but it’s hard to say how long they can maintain that. It’s a bit sad the features BYD offers in China is very different to their international models.
I got a "phase 2" car, and the rear wiper is functional. The additional back headrest is kinda useless as it blocks a big portion of the rear window, so it's sitting somewhere in my house at the moment.
In terms of software, I think it's the latest. And they all still have the warping floor...
