I think we paid about £900 all in for the charger and installation. (Our installation involved holes/cabling from middle of house to external, then under garden slabs to rear wall of garden).

We got the hive charger (older model -not sure if it's the same one) with a year's free charging as we were with BG. Total failure. Kept disconnecting network or from car or just wouldn't start charging. App unreliable. They kept telling us it was our fault with bad reception (not true at all)...

Hi all Every now and then (sometimes every day, sometimes only once now and then) the left hand switch on the steering wheel will lose its function (ie be reset to no function) and I have to go into convenience in the menu and reset it. Anyone else have this issue?

Thanks might give it a try. Just annoys me -such a simple thing -why does it not auto-scan (or remember) every time the car starts? It knows something is plugged into the USB c but it's like it's an empty drive until I remove and reinsert it.

I retract that statement. It did it automatically once. Since then I've had to take it out and reinsert to get it to show up. Nevermind!

So I bought another flash drive (16gb instead of 128gb -i only had about 15gb of music on the big one anyway). It appears to be sorted. As opposed to having to take out and reinsert to get the car to recognise it, it loaded up automatically (when inserted before turning the car on). Fingers...

That's the whole point-I need the usb A for the phone. What size flash drive out of interest? Maybe this is too much for it to deal with on startup. Seems weird though
