That film is there but it's inside sealed between 2 sheets of glass. In case of breakage it helps to hold it together. Usually for windscreens, known as laminated glass. Toughened glass is that which is normally fitted in rest of windows and shatters into millions of pieces. Wouldn't want that...

As Ging353 said, there is no film on inside of a new cars window. Suggest you just peel off the film with the help of a hairdryer if necessary.

Many thanks. I've been with Octopus for a long time. I use the granny charger as we don't do enough miles to warrant having a home charger. Paying 8.5p per kwh for 5 hours. Happy with that.

Only just found this thread about Tomato today. So straight onto their website and lo and behold they are not taking on new customers at present. I'm new to all this as I've only had me ev for a month. Lots to learn.

Using the 13amp charger that came with the car. Is this a granny charger? Charged over two days from 60% and left charging this morning until it turned itself off. See attached for the voltage after unplugging.
