Hi @Laclastre, As far as I am aware the BMS PID's for the MG5 are 7E5 but they are 781 for the ZS. Also on another note, I didn't find the PID's the work was done by the mgevhackers group for the ZS, I just checked which of the PID's they had found worked for the MG5.

I have found it doesn't connect for me either, I have to tap on the USB accessory notification then select Let the other device decide on the type of connection. It then connects through fine.

What are you thinking is going to be pricey? Most of the parts prices I've seen have been really cheap compared to most other makes. Also there's the fact that there are so few things to go wrong, maintenance costs should be really low.
