absolutely it should be but it seems the luxury of normality/ fairness is well out of our control when it comes to MG, no one's fault but theirs ! Plus i do like seeing peoples pictures they post when they get the car, reminds us why we're all putting ourselves through this ?

I feel like we should be happy for anyone that gets their car, it's not anyone's intention to jump the queue and win the MG Lottery - if luck goes someone's way then at least it's another one off the backlog :)

Yeah knew they didn’t have a clue but couldn’t even be bothered to get into it as I’ve gone through Octopus so immediate disadvantage. Will eat my hat if 5,000 roll off a ship in september….

Update from glyn Hopkins.. I played dumb but they basically said the ship takes 13 weeks from China and the next one is due on the 1st September, BUT that one will apparently have 5,000 of them on…… why are all the stories so different it’s actually quite funny at this point ?

so I did mine through Octopus, it was MG that told me they were my dealer. Will try give them a call and who knows they might allocate it to me.... :ROFLMAO:

What number/ email did you contact out of interest? i can't get a reply from any of the emails/ forms i'm submitting

it's like waiting to see whether you get put in heaven or hell- completely cancelled or arriving imminently..

I will let you know if i get any more information from MG, but judging by their responses so far posted in this chain i am not hopeful !!

ZS EV SE long range in white, looks to be exactly what MG Lancaster are selling ^^ :( currently scheduled for September but no build date judging by 'approximates'. Also trying to find out what dealership Octopus have used, they're quite secretive about that too

I managed to get the MG order number from Octopus- but after asking very directly and after a lot of frustrated emails. Also ordered in January but believe they then raised it directly with MG instead of already having it on waiting..
