I've never heated the battery either in the MG4 or this S5!! Never quite grasped it...mainly as I charge through the Ohme App.... Pre-heating....is thus done through i-Smart, the car, or whilst charging?

Hi everyone..... Had my S5 over a month and generally very pleased with it so far. However, I am a little concerned over the range I'm getting. I know it's the wrong time of year to be expecting big range numbers near to what the manufacturer claims, but this is worse than my previous MG4...

Used the preheat windscreen two days in a row now, and the heated seats option - all from the remote app on phone. Works so much better than the MG4, and very little battery consumption. Car warm as toast and a clear windscreen. Interesting to see what it does with a much heavier frost....

Yep, if you're an MG4 owner, that's what they do..... I had a nostalgia period where I purchased a few songs from the 60's, including -' A Windmill In Old Amsterdam'!! I should have renamed it....as that was the first song the MG4 would start playing every time.....'I saw a mouse'.......🙈🙈🙈

Sorry if this is obvious, but you have put the USB in the right-hand usb connector, not the left hand one? I know that one of them is for charging only.......

About as well as the S5car v iSmart!! When i was driving my MG4, there was frequently a difference of around 1 mile between the two in- car screens, particularly when charging.

It does work, but there's been no word on why the MG brand was removed from the Tesla app! It used to be, but was suddenly no more! The work-around discussed here and on the MG4 thread works just fine, but like you, I have yet to try it on the S5. I'm sure it should work ok.....
