I was wondering the same, it seems oddly angled. I wasn’t aware of anything during the drive, but it’s possible.

Has anyone experienced the same issue? The forward collision system and emergency braking system are both unavailable and don’t want to turn back on. The problem came on suddenly mid drive - it had been working earlier during the drive. Any known faults or causes?

I used Applegreen twice at South Mimms on my MG5 LR without a hitch this month. Very simple and easy to use with a bank card. Charging hit a peak of 75kw. I noticed they have more units ready to roll out, currently under covers. There were also loads of units almost ready at Birchanger off the M11.

The light is a solid green now. I suspect it did a test call and the SIM didn’t connect, hence the fault light. Interesting that the button has never shown a green light before.

I had my first fault on my pre facelift model this morning. It flashed up a dash light - eCall fault or something similar. Presumably this is the SOS button. The button had a green flashing led light (usually it is, I think, a steady amber). Anyone know what might be happening?

I had similar - very alarming in an otherwise very quiet car. It went away, but was probably grit trapped between disc and callipers.

The noise hasn’t come back this morning. I attempted to replicate the driving actions before it occurred and drove it in various combinations of mode and Kers to see if it happened again. I’m guessing it was grit in the brake which has since dislodged.

It’s good to know I’m not alone. It’s not a sound that inspires mechanical confidence in the vehicle!

It might be. The sound wasn’t as squealing as that - more of a metallic grinding. I gave the wheel arches and brakes area a hose down earlier in case it dislodged a stuck stone. The rural roads have been quite bad with the rain and it would be easy to pick up a stone when going through deep...

Update: in the end we cancelled our order and purchased an immediately available MG5 EV Long Range (pre facelift) for the same money. I took it home this morning. Made sense for us size wise - pleased also to have a few more comforts with it. Range is less, but won’t be a problem on a daily...
