Hi, does the hv system keep the 12v battery topped up even when the car is switched off ? Was thinking for a dashcam in parking mode so it works OK without a drain on the 12v battery.

Same 4•1 for me but I don't drive around like Postman Pat to save a few pennies or prove a point.

Last August I paid £21,000 for the excite with 5 miles on the clock pre registered . Looks like that one you're looking at is way overpriced especially with the miles covered.

From what I have read the balancing of the batteries is done after the car is at 100% so I leave it on charge for an extra 3 hours for the balancing to occur. I normally do this once a month on my SR MG5.

I put all of my rear headrests in a box in the boot as usually there's only the 2 of us in the car. Much better for rear view observation.

Wouldn't you charge exactly the same 80% - 20% on a short range MG5.

I thought the warranty was 7 years providing you use the MG dealerships for servicing ?

My MG5 SW is exactly the same and if you follow the copper wires down a small piece is missing to the bottom half of the element therefore the circuit is not complete. I will be going to my dealership soon for the kers upgrade / callback so will mention it to them

Did you manage to sort out the dashcam, I am about to do the same but as far as I see it ( in the manual ) the passenger side fusebox with the F2 fuse looks like a good option as it supplies USB ports and this is live when the car is unlocked. Which fuse did you use for permanent supply to the...
