As you have a podpoint account can you try one locally (eg my local Tesco has them) just to eliminate your EVSE (charger) or car? Does your EVSE have a tethered cable?

Looked at the backlight control. It's a pity it's only day/night with not much difference. I keep adjusting the infotainment screen brightness by that seems to reset as well.
