My ordered Breather Pipe part arrived at my dealer (for my yet-to-be-collected new Trophy) today.

I’m still waiting. My dealer said MG had told dealer aftermarket salesperson one thing about part availability and posting/couriering, then changed the ETA when it didn’t arrive when expected. Go MG!

Very interested in what happened with dealer when you raised that the issue may be recurring. I only ask as i am waiting to pick up my new Trophy until the breather pipe part is installed per dealer’s instigation.

BTW it was Brindley MG in Cannock that was so helpful in my case above.

Random "Oil Leak" datapoint, I've yet to see or drive my new MG4. In early October, I reserved a specific Camden Gray Trophy MG4 from a specific dealer's Late October/Early November allocation. Just this last Thursday, I was given the Chassis Number and told my car would arrive at the dealer...

I don't know. All I was told was my car has been through the workshop and unfortunately it is showing signs of a leak.

My guess is this is probably not just limited to MG, but more the current state of the union for new car fulfillment with such massive disparity between supply (-chain, thank you Covid, silicon fires, and invasion of Ukraine) and demand.

What my dealer said is that they'll receive my car today, after which it will: Be PDI'ed Have its updates done (I presume software) "check for oil leak" Alas the service department doesn't work the weekends, so pending all above goes smoothly, I'd be able to get the car early/mid next week?

Anyone else here working with Brindley MG in Cannock? I've had good experience so far, reserving a specific Trophy on 3rd Oct from their "October/EarlyNov" allocation, and today received my Chassis Number and notice it would arrive at the dealer tommorw! Pending updates, PDI, oil leak...
