We have taken ours through loads of times. Remember to turn auto hold off and just put it in neutral like any auto and you’ll be fine. I dont fold the mirrors as I want them cleaned too. Never had any issues. The back doesn’t always get fully clean though due to the shape 👎

Just remember using auto hold keeps the brake lights illuminated till you move off. Bit of a pest at night to the driver behind. Suppose it uses more electrics too in that regard. But I always use auto hold unless for extended periods and it’s never caused any noticeable difference to battery...

If mine is in auto I can’t change the brightness. It defaults to blinding light. Has to be one theme or the other and manually adjusted

It will be because you are using an extension lead (from my experience) mine charges fine charger plugged in to the socket in the garage. The rare times I’ve tried to use an extension to save swapping cars on drive it cuts out after varying short time periods. I’m 99% sure our user manual...

My infotainment constantly froze mk1. Hold circular silver button in till u get the mg logo. Just had a “dealer reset” today (blatantly a software update) which has made the system far better. Maybe worth a trip to dealers.

So emailed arnold shark MG after 6 months to be told my data had been lost in their cyber attack in December. Cc’d the branch manager and miraculously my steering rack “arrived” the very next morning. its all been fixed and the infotainment also updated. Will post about that elsewhere. Worth...

Think it will have happened to every driver of most modern vehicles in the circumstances you describe but MG seems to be horridly sensitive. Puts the fear of a higher power up you 😆 You can lower the sensitivity of the system in settings as it defaults too high. But it resets with every on/off...

It may help you to upgrade your number plate bulbs to led too. Makes a massive difference to what you can see on the ground in my other car albeit quite close but may assist your situ 👍
