    Finally had a text from my dealer ( yes really) saying " your parts have arrived". I was just waiting for a yes or no on the warranty claim, but I'll take it!

    I've been waiting almost 3 months since my dealer took pictures, referred it to MG warranty department, they then lost it apparently and so they've sent it again last month. Still no update. Sigh

    My wife is 4ft 6 and we can honestly say the sill has never been an issue. just being mindful it's there is enough.

    I emailed the dealership today , and they have no idea what happened but they've resent the warranty claim. That's 2 months wasted waiting 🤣🤣🤣 mean time, the issue is now worse.

    Mines just updated, gave me a token expired message, and now just won't connect to the car. How frustrating. I can sign in ok and actually my battery % is correct etc.

    I charge similar to what I'd do in my old Fabia. Wait till it gets to around 50 miles left around 30 % usually then charge to 80. I used to wait till my old car got into the red then put £35 in, which was around 3/4 full.

    you are correct. Theres a bulletin from MG about it. The bulletin says only fix it if the customer tells you they want it fixed. It also gives full instructions to the garage what parts they need to order to fix the issue. Even with that, I had to speak directly to the technician and show them...

    its a materials issue not an MG issue I think. I've seen other car forums where similar happens, also possibly due to using LED lights and not standard bulbs.

    I'm on tracker, and having crunched the numbers, for me personally, it's actually cheaper to charge on my current tariff because of the fixed rate at all other times, which is higher than what I pay day to day.
