That's not my understanding of build to order, if I pair it up with JIT manufacturing, which makes sense for such a niche car/pricing... I really wouldn't expect anything past the numbers of paid deposits + maybe 20%

fair, thats a bit different - but tbh, if the cars only landed a couple of weeks back, thats still on MG considering a month turnaround is not unreasonable. Logistically the cars should have landed in June for a summer release, not july

Yeah, won't be far off, they have all the necessary data to price things up, as of beginning of month. I would recommend spending what you would spend on an interim car, on alternative transport methods, unless MG mention some massive delay to pre-orders
