Makes no difference, defaults to 100% when I do this.
I have myEnergi charger and use Octopus Go. The charge schedule (e.g. 12:30 - 05:30) works fine, it always starts at 12:30 shuts off at 05:30 whether the car reaches its charge set point or not. I had an issue a while back with a manual...
Scheduled charge last night happened, and well, it ignored the 90% that I had set before getting out of the car (need to do a moderate length journey today) and went straight to 100%.
So MG had my car for half a day doing the recalls. Apparently they tested the battery charger setting it at 70% and it shut off as normal. The first thing that happened when I got back in the car was the "Driver Alertness System Fault" appearing on the dash. I'll find out tomorrow if the long...
All being well the 5 outstanding software recalls will be fixed on mine tomorrow. Its not going to be enough to keep MG in my good graces unfortunately.
I turn the EBA down to the minimum as I have a couple of instances of it bringing the car to a halt via an emergency stop when it has gotten confused.
I think its part of a list of recalls on the cars software so it certainly should be at no cost.
If you really want one a good local dealership is paramount with these cars. Look at the reviews (and ask on here) about how good the dealerships are for software updates and recalls. The one I got my MG4 from has been less than helpful when it comes to warranty stuff and recalls. I have now...
Easily, in 2022 when I used the PCP route for my Trophy the GFV was ~£16,300 (I'd have to check the paperwork) after the 4 year deal was up. At 3 years old the car is now (if I am lucky on a private sale) worth £12-13k. I'm VT'ing mine in the new year as I will be at the half way point...
As they provided a handy quote for the cost of the work I fear the suspension components now come under "wear and tear". Though to be honest now even if everything wrong with it, from the suspension and charging issue to all the minor niggles were fixed next week under warranty I still wouldn't...
The fault that generates the triangle is (driver alertness system failure), and they have stated "The charging issue will be fixed with a software update".
I already have, the car has obvious faults, charging to 100% all the time not staying in battery health mode and a ⚠️ triangle on the dash for a fault that has been there for most of the year.
Having just phoned the finance company the remaining liability is less than the outstanding payments to the end of the term, so I'm going to run it through winter and start car shopping in Jan/Feb for a replacement. Bit of a sad end but I'm not keeping it any longer than I deem sensible.
