Let me be the first to say me, I care about 0-60 times, as really low time like the xpower provide fun, awe, surprise, exhilaration, very quick overtaking and a smile on your face.
Interesting but a bit expensive. I have tried 4 in total wireless carplay adapters in my MG and the latest seems to be the most reliable and cheapest. Still suffers from the need to unplug/replug in USB after power up though, caused by the car being slow to boot up compared to the unit, I...
It’s a good car. I bought some locking wheel bolts for mine (£17), some mud flaps not fitted yet and found a strip of double sided black foam on the edge of the wireless charger stops the iphone flying off.
I left my car at heathrow for 3 weeks at 64%. Was 63% when I got back. I got this emergency 12V jump start pack just in case the 12V ever gets flattened. Small and light enough to fit in glove box: 12V 20000MAH Car Emergency Battery Jump Starter Start Booster W/LED Power Pack | eBay
I’ve gone through a couple of wireless carplay adapters and both of them would crash out too often. Noticeable on long journeys. Annoying when you lose the carplay satnav at the wrong moment. Both unusable for that reason and both sent back. (Wired carplay works fine)
There seem to be two...
On the original thread question of good things about the car. Done 2000 miles in my Xpower:
Overall just a great car compared to any car ICE or EV
Unbeatable performance per £
Comfortable and refined compared to most alternatives (how do Kia & BYD owners put up with whining?)
Just the right...
I parked at heathrow for about 3 weeks from 7th Dec to 24th Dec. Charge on main battery 62%. On my return 2.5 weeks later the charge was 61%. And no problem getting home. I didn’t access the car during the holiday until a day before the end, where I guess it was in a deep sleep mode as mobile...
Don’t include me in your “all”. I always leave it on and don’t have a problem with it. Very occasionally it will beep and even more rarely it will tug slightly, but not a big problem. Maybe it got better in the Xpower.
Have a play with the graphic equaliser settings for setting the frequency response of the audio to what you think sounds best for you, it helps. Perfectly acceptable for me.
The Xpower‘s performance is safe to handle due to all the safety tech and 4wd. In some respects and at some times it is safer having more power in order to pull out safely and overtake in a shorter time, so safer.
I’ve done over 1500 miles with LKA on all the time and I very often use TJA, particularly long trips. I don’t find either a problem. The LKA will very occassionally give a beep and a small tug, but if holding the wheel it doesn’t divert the direction that much to be of concern. It is a safety...
