Mine has not been ok since I've had it. I think the latest updates have improved this greatly so its not really much of an issue for most I feel anymore.
I'm not sure if I'm missing something as I can't see an option to heat battery via the app, only to heat the cabin. Is it the same and heats both I have SE if makes any difference?
Yes agree recommended tyre pressure is for cold tyres.
Another thing to note regarding winter driving is to add more pressure, wouldn't say above the MAX recommended but this helps to open up the tread, also helps heat get into the tyre and is better to scrape away top layer of any slippy stuff...
Same as anon, when you are driving your 200+ journey do you go the whole way without any comfort breaks? as if you usually take a stop even the SR will be enough range. I have the SE and regularly carry out a 220ish mile journey with a stop halfway, plug in (always been an available working...
Think what others are suggesting is: have you charged it all the way from under 10% all the way to 100% plus leaving for balance in once session? As the BMS needs to recognise the state of batteries right through all the levels so it can accurately predict what is left. If your car had updates...
I would imagine the battery isn't in its optimum temp range and although its call intelligent battery heating it will also intelligently cool to optimum temp if selected
I also like to have Wattsup app running when on a long journey then when down to like 25% have a look and see what chargers are on my route coming up and what miles they are away. Can then head to plan a and know how long to plan b etc
Yes, it only seems to be the left one though, so I changed my most used option to the right button. I presume a software update may fix this but not sure.
I seem to remember someone having an issue with boot not locking correctly. Another thing does the horn give a beep if boot not closed correctly like it does the doors if they aren't fully closed when trying to lock. They could have got in that way if seat down as you said.
I've had this in my last car which was Peugeot e-2008 and then the MG4 sound was flat after a call or viewing notifications but doesn't happen now.
I'd say then it is not a car side problem but android side. I'm assuming an Android update rectified it as nothing else has changed other than...
in my opinion cruising @65mph is a good speed for long journeys and you spend less time slowing down and speeding up again as you would at 70, makes a big difference as not accelerating as often as well as the wind resistance factor. The average speed for the journey and as such time taken will...
