They are my "local" dealer but only use them when anything can't be done by local garage. The online booking system doesn't allow for any interaction, either regarding technical matters or booking time. The service reception staff are pleasant enough though.

Just an additional point- the service record is held on the MG computer system. Independent garages can't log their service work, so "full service history" can't be demonstrated.
I have a similar problem, so will try replacing the 12V battery. Can I get my local garage to supply and fit a good quality battery, or does it have to be the MG dealer?
I bought a similar car and was surprised to find that the only true service history lives in the MG UK computer system. If you were able to get an MG dealer to look up this car, it might clarify things.
I have read a lot of the discussions about estimated range and would like to know what is the state of charge when I am driving along. The only time that I see it stated is when charging, eg 75%. Is there a direct correlation with battery voltage? The car is a 2020 ZS ev (second hand).
