Update on my service. I went to MG in Southend after they quoted £164 for the 3 yr service( MG Basildon qupted me £310). When i arrived they took the car into the workshop and then told me the service would be £1300. The reason was because it is a Taxi. Please all comments appreciated. TIA

Hi all, Im sure this has been asked a million times. Am I correct in thinking the original bulbs are HB3 9005. I have just bought HB 3 9006 and they dont fit. It seems as you twist the bulb in place the black plastic lugs are different sizes? They are smaller on the new bulbs. Can anyone help?

So todays update. Battery now showing 14.1 v .Think Santa must have changed the battery overnight.

Hi all. Yesterday i got in my MG5 and started the car. 12v battery showed 12.5v I thought when you put the car on charge it also charged the 12v battery? Am I wrong or do i have a problem. I have got a trickle charger on it at the minute. TIA

Im in the U.K and mine has started doing the same. Shows outside temperature as -3 to -30 then changes to -20. Every 15 mins its up and down. Any help please

Yes I went to buy the car from them, luckily they had sold out and promised to get me one from up north. Next day MG in southend phoned me to say they had one in Stock. Service is terrible in Basildon. Thanks for the number I will ring them today.

Hi all. So I've been phoning MG in Basildon for 7 days now, sent 3 emails and promised 2 phone calls back. The point is trying to book a service on my 22 plate with 105000 miles and no joy. Has anyone used anyone else other than MG to do a service (in Essex if possible)? Thanks in advance.

Thanks will have a read shortly. Yes both bulbs went at the same time. Tried to but nightbreakers near me and no one has them. Going to order them online.

Definitely gone i tried to use main beam nothing Both bulbs gone looking for new ones. Did see post about nightbreaks .

Hi all. Driving home this morning I lost my headlights ( side lights working) Both went off at the same time. Think it could be a fuse that's gone. I've managed to get the side panel off but look like it's not that easy to get to the fuse box. Any tips or idea's Thanks Mick
