MG3+ Hybrid had annoying beeping warning at speed cameras etc, but that was sorted by switching everything to visual. Now the car speaks to me if I go over the speed limit by as little as 1mph very loudly...I assume its the sat-nav system, but how do I turn it off
Thanks, yes it has app which can control the charger. Obviously Gen 1 doesn’t link with MG app and doesn’t have the same level of managing/monitoring charge ( such as setting 80% cut off). Will get back to Octopus to pursue
Slightly confused- gen 1 2020 ZS. Last time looked on Octopus app- MG was supported, but charger isn’t , Free2Charge Wallbox. Does this mean I could use EV tariff ?
Two tips that might help - small dehumidiers in cabin to stop misting up ( taken from another post ) . Use heated seats rather than heater to preserve battery range ( from EV charging guide)
Great reply, I think I will carry on as per:- monthly granny charge and equalisation, coupled with top-ups as and when required ( instavolt app shows charging profile with 'drop-off' at approx 80% - that's my cue to stop charging ). hopefully home charging unit being installed soon - FREE2MOVE...
I agree, thread discussion threw me with % displayed comments. Given the point about previous trips affecting charging capacity, do you think it's good practice to zero the trip details prior to a "granny equalisation" charge to ensure battery gets charged to right level ?
Latest update. home charger waiting to be fitted (any day now)-apparently the supplier, not the utility company, has to give you 'permission' to get it installed, plus your electrics need to be up to scratch
