I saw some ref to recoding but it was unclear on exactly what you could actually recover and it has ‘emergency recording' Some EV suffer from 12v battery failure. Not helped if you sit in the car with it in ‘accessory mode’ which means only the 12v battery supplies power to the car’s systems...

Definitely too early for the insurers to have a price. Experienced the same when I was getting my Ioniq 5.

I was supposed to be having a test drive this afternoon at Lookers in Brighton. Unfortunately, they have just called to say the car was not available to drive as they had not completed the PDI! Not sure how long the PDI would take, but given they got the car last week and were offering test...

Thank you for your thoughts. I have a test drive on Sun and currently drive an AWD Ioniq 5 which IS a large car so will see how it compares to that for feel. Re the rear view limitations - would this be improved if the rear headrests were removed? I intend to take my golf gear with me to test...

Unfortunately, it appears the only cars available for test drives atm (certainly in my area) are the ‘launch’ editions which will likely drive quite differently to the LR. I have a test drive booked for sun but will not make any decisions until I can drive a LR version.

Servicing every year sounds very excessive to me. My Hyundai Ioniq 5 is only every 2 years.

There is always something ‘better’ coming out next year…...
