The MG ZS EV does the same. Sometimes it charges no problem, other times it stops straight after starting or won’t connect.

Currently on 40%. I don’t do much rapid charging, I don’t have a home charger so nearly always use Tesco but used the new charging station near the M180 /Humber bridge once last week .

Could it be equalising? Wouldn’t it tell me if it needed to be equalised?

I tried a 50 kw genie and a 50 kw instavolt yesterday, a 22 kw ev charger online and the instavolt again twice, then the 7kw free pod point at Tesco. The only one which will charge is the Tesco one but only at 3kw. It reads slow charging on the screen, it usually just says charging.

My MG ZS Ev will not connect to the 50 kW chargers today, I eventually found a 7 kW pod point where it connected but the car reads slow charging and it’s only charging at about 3kW. Any idea what the problem is?
