I have the same thing on mine. Micro cracks on the rear light cluster. Many cracks on rear left. One on rear right. One on centre light bar.

Personally, I have a small screwdriver on a retractable keychain in the boot. Attached to the webbing on the side. (For the boot release) Mainly, because with my luck I would drop the key blade once I wrestle it out of the fob.

I second siteguru’s suggestion. When I have issues with getting the app to do what I want my steps to fix it are usually: 1. Restart app 2. Stand by window and unlock/lock car with fob 3. Restart phone 4. Swear and do it manually ? Rarely need to go past 2.

They ran checks followed by software updates. the invalid key issue has only happened to me once, so I don’t know if the software update was successful in resolving it. I don’t believe I have your software version however.

I suspect it’s all versions. My MG4 is a trophy and I have had the invalid key issue. Crossing fingers that your software update sorts it!

I tried unlocking the doors using the digital key when I was locked in. All that did was display an unhelpful error message in the app. (The entire error message was “Fail.”) The doors remained locked.

I found the LKA was a little less sensitive after the update, but it will still try to take any slip road you come across with no warning. I ended up turning it back off. Lane departure correction and warnings would be more effective imo.

I can verify that this does not get you out of the car… but it did make me feel better. Until the alarm went off again. ?
