Care is needed when replacing wiper blades to prevent the wiper arms scratching the trailing edge of the bonnet, and creating a paint job [like I did :-( ]. User Guide tells you how to put wipers in "service position".

Thanks. Had thought about that and will try setting the charge time via the car instead of the charger. Or using the granny lead instead, on the grounds that some charge is better than no charge.

Thanks for that. I'm on E.On Next Drive as it's charger and car independent, and I get 7 hours off-peak (in theory!). But also willing to change energy supplier when we move.
