Stupid question have you checked your charge lead just incase it's stuck in it,

To be fair it's not just MG that has poor customer service, a friend of mine has a Corsa electric, it broke down after charging on a 7kw charger, garage could not find anything wrong even though the AA could not get it going charge for diagnostics £130, move forward 2 months breaks down again...

Take a look on the mg5 pages lots of people have had problems & using wireless adapters now

Have you got the LKA on it has a similar effect

If you are going to Aberystwyth there is a new charging hub by the national library run by Fuuse, I was there last bank holiday they have fast chargers at 40p/kWh. & Rapid at 50p/kWh, there is also lots of books to read & a nice café.

It could be the find me function had this happen at work, I got your car alarm is going off but it's not very loud, is fun in a car park if you see someone getting close or being nosey press the lock button & watch them look around when they think they have set the alarm off

Sometimes if you pull when locked it makes the pin stick, when it does this push it in before trying to unlock, has happened to me a couple of times

Not true when I charged on Tesla last October had to stop charge before I could unplug, charged fine last year. Have tried same chargers this year and they don't work on MG5's ,car has had no updates since I have owned it so can't say some obscure update has stopped it from working.

Drove into Wales yesterday 156 miles started 100% finished with 39% & 93miles on GOM LR Excite, did it in 3 1/2 hours all A&B roads same time as my old ice
