Regarding the charging cable, if your car is a my23 model, then a single phase cable will be sufficient. Easiest way to know is to see if it has a rear wiper. If not, get the 3 phase cable.

I experience this also. I think it maybe the handbrake being auto applied after a set period of time as have seen the red "P" being displayed after the "nudge". I can predict it happening now and assume it is normal behavior.

I think the car is preparing to be used so it aborts the charge and releases the charging cable. If you lock your car again, it should restart charging after a minute or so. This is the case using a type 2 charger, haven’t had the need to use the granny charger yet though.
